Randal addresses the challenges of getting technology. Optimum Technologies,
Inc., is a product development and contract manufacturing company founded
in 1994. The company specializes in optical devices used to detect, diagnose,
and treat disease. Recent projects have included endoscopes, fiberoptic
sensors, microscopy systems, and phototherapeutic systems. The company
provides services to medical device companies of all sizes, and has also
received several SBIR awards to develop it's own novel technologies. Its
most recent award is from the National Cancer Institute for the development
of a fiberoptic probe for early detection of cancer in-vivo.
