AZNA LLC has introduced a new transmitter technology for both LR and metro
fiber optics networks that extends the transmission reach while reducing
the overall Capex required for implementing such networks. AZNA's Telecordia
qualified transmitter technology is smaller, costs less to manufacture
and consumes less power than traditional transmitters.

John McMurdy
John McMurdy of Brown University is working in the clinical testing of
spectroscopic techniques to non-invasively measure blood hemoglobin levels
(McMurdy's research is with the support of a prestigious NASA GSRP Fellowship).
Gregory P. Crawford, Associate Professor of Engineering & Physics
at Brown University is also working with him.
